Retired and visited Venice many times. Try Ca Badoer apartments in Venice. Best value,location and spotless. We usually walk different areas of the city ,be adventurous and try the little streets full of character. Must go to Doges palace, Ca `d oro and Ca Rezzonico.Try getting a travel card for 40E lasts 3yrs and makes travel on Vaporettas cheaper,need a passport photo,office in Piazzale Roma.Best value direct bus from airport 20 mins to Venice 3E.
