There are a variety of restaurants offering different cuisine throughout Turkey and Dalaman. Some of the best food can be found in local restaurants and cafes and generally prices are very cheap.

Budget: Belideye Park cafe - located behind the main coach station, this cafe is a firm favorite with the locals. Offering drinks, snacks and ice cream, this cafe does not however serve alcohol - the perfect place to meet with friends for a chilled day out.
Mid-range: Palmiye Restaurant - restaurant serving a wide range of European dishes as well as alcohol. Close to the Mugla/Fethiye highway, this restaurant is perfect for visiting in the winter due to the cosy interior with a large open wood fire to sit and relax by.
Nil Restaurant - can be found a short drive from Dalaman town centre, close to Dalaman Beach. Serves a selection of fish and steak dishes. Also serves alcohol.
Turku Cafe - close to the main road in Dalaman, this restaurant offers traditional food and live turkish music during the evenings.

Drinking

Dalaman has many drinking establishments including bars and nightclubs which are very popular with visiting tourists. Try Malibu Beach Bar for a lively night with up to date music, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Shopping in Dalaman

Dalaman and its surrounding towns offer a variety of shops and good to buy including boutiques, craft & souvenir shops and jewellers where many a bargain can be found. There will be great competition from market traders to sell you their goods so make sure you barter to achieve the best possible price.
