Eating

Prices are generally low compared to the UK and you will find a good variety of restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes and budgets in each of the major towns and resorts. Scenic restaurants and farmhouses can be found in the country.

Drinking

Wine is very cheap compared to the UK, a bottle will cost you around €4. Bars range from traditional pubs to designer clubs. Once you are in the clubs and bars you will start to pay more for your drinks.

Things To See And Do

The beaches on the island are beautiful and with the water so clear and warm a popular pastime is snorkelling and scuba diving. Of course watersports are also popular including jetskiing and the bargain big banana boat ride.
Secluded beaches and coves are dotted around the island, you can explore via one of the many boat trips or alternatively hire a car.
The Salt Pans of Las Salinas are one of Ibiza’s most popular beauty spots. Witness the spectacular results as the sun sets over the salt formations displaying an array of stunning colours.
Ibiza is the place for club culture, DJ’s and dance music. There are seven main clubs in Ibiza: Amnesia, Eden, El Divino, Es Paradis, Privilege, Pacha and Space. The biggest club is Privilege which is also listed in the Guinness Book Of Records as the world’s largest! It is home to the island’s largest club night Manumission.

Shopping

Ibiza is renowned for Lladro porcelain, designer labels, handmade leather goods, perfumes, gold and silver and wines and spirits at competitive prices.
The Bodega Ribas in Santa Eulalia is the perfect stop for the best priced wines and spirits.
Check out the weekly hippy market at Es Cana, held every Wednesday from 10am to 7pm. It offers a great choice of jewellery and clothing.
The trendsetting boutiques in Ibiza Town are a must for the fashion conscious. The stalls come out around the port at night selling an array of jewellery and accessories.
San Antonio boasts a large range of boutiques, sportswear and footwear. San Antonio Bay is great for souvenir hunting.
Banks on the island are open from 9am to 2pm daily, closed Saturday and Sunday. Some banks offer money changing facilities in the evenings.

Beyond The City

It is fairly cheap to get around Ibiza. All taxis charge a set fare and a taxi from Ibiza town to San Antonio will cost you around €14 (£6). If you are going clubbing as a group of four or more and arriving in a taxi the club will pay your fare.
Buses run frequently between the main towns on the island. Disco buses also connect to clubs in the evening.
If you are thinking of exploring the island it’s worth hiring a car or scooter. Remember Ibiza is only 45km long and 25km wide, so at any point on the island is never more than an hour’s drive away!
