Menorcan food is simple and traditional in style. The capital Maó,

Drinking
Cova d’en Xoroi – Cave Club, Cala En Porter. Located on the south
coast of the island this cave turns into a nightclub from 11pm in the evening
at the weekend. It’s probably one of Europe’s most extraordinary
nightlife spots, set in an ancient cave above the sea with fantastic terrace

Things To See And Places To Visit
Maó (Mahon). The capital of Menorca comprises of a pleasant old town with narrow streets containing, cafés, boutiques, restaurants, shops, squares and the twice weekly market. Mahon’s major attraction is its huge natural harbour, the second biggest in the world – lined with cafés and restaurants. The scenery is beautiful with many peaceful ‘calas’ to explore.
Beyond The City
Menorca boasts over 100 fabulous beaches, most of which are easily
accessible by the island bus service. For those looking for adventure there
are several "secret" beaches tucked away, which are a pleasure to seek out.
Child friendly and famed for its white sand and clear waters, Cala Galdana
on the South-West coast is a good place to start. A beautiful bay surrounded
by Pine trees, this beach offers a great selection of water sports and
restaurants ideal for a family. Son Bou is the longest beach on the island,
its golden sands stretch over 2 miles.
For spectacular views head to Punta Prima in the South, surrounded by some
rocky areas, this beach is situated in a growing resort with an abundance of
amenities. Cala en Bosch, a popular destination on the South-West coast has
a variety of restaurants and shops and is located around a picturesque
marina, a great place for families and couples alike!
Cuitadella, on the West of the island is a historic town with great
character. A good place to people watch and soak up some Menorcan culture!
For sightseeing make time to climb Mount Toro, at 358m and the island's
highest point it provides fabulous panoramic views and on a clear day you
will see neighbouring Majorca.
