Britons planning on booking cheap flights to Spain in order to enjoy a spot of continental sun may wish to get their skates on.
This is after one sector commentator has claimed the country would always be an "absolute favourite" destination for UK travellers.
"Spain is fantastic value for money whether you are in the Balearic Islands or Costas, you are going to get some very good deals this summer," he added.
According to a survey by Aldi Travel, 82 per cent of people agreed that a good holiday is crucial for their wellbeing.
Meanwhile, 60 per cent of respondents claimed that value for money was the most important factor to consider when choosing their getaway, while two per cent of adults have opted to leave the kids at home when they have jetted off.
