Britons who plan to get the most for their money by enjoying a camping holiday this year may wish to book cheap flights to Spain where they can pitch a tent in one of Europe's "coolest campsites".
Keith Didcock has selected a list of 20 of the coolest camping grounds on the continent and Spain notches up three appearances.
The first Spanish site to make his list, El Burro Blanco, is nestled in the mountains of Salamanca inside a nine-acre wood with views to the fortified village of Miranda del Castanar.
"Be warned, though: in summer, it's scorching hot, so dive into the nearby rivers to cool off," he added.
Next on Mr Didcock's list is La Fresneda, a site of 28 pitches studded with olive trees where campers can enjoy fresh pastries and espresso for breakfast, rather than the traditional cold baked beans.
And at Cala Llevado, one hour from Barcelona, holidaymakers can enjoy views overlooking rocky coves and secluded beaches.
