Oliver Chandler, spokesperson for Spain magazine, explains that cheap flights to Spain are just one of the reasons why people might choose to visit the country.

"It's really accessible and the weather is good - I think that is why it's so attractive."

Mr Chandler notes that prices continue to be competitive in Spain even with the euro performing well in terms of exchange rates.
He concludes that travellers could find the region serves their needs whether they are heading away for the weekend, for the summer months or considering moving there permanently.
