Britons keen not to miss out on the end of the ski season may wish to get their skates on and book cheap flights to Paris so they can hit the French slopes.
According to Jean-Pierre Courteau, director of Maison de la France, the French government tourist office, the majority of skiers in the country are Britons, so UK holidaymakers will not be short of company as they race down the piste.
He added that 40,000 Brit winter sports enthusiasts headed to France this season, making up the main group of visitors to the French Alps and the Pyrenees.
"We had a lot of snow and the season was very good," he noted, adding that many families were now making their money go further by staying in one of France's campsites when they visited.
And Britons may be further convinced to book cheap flights to Paris as the Telegraph's Nick Trend recently stated that March was a good month to enjoy a ski trip as it was before the school holidays began.
