Britons with a taste for art and culture may wish to book cheap flights to Spain after hearing that one of the country's sculptures has been heralded as one of the world's best.
Peter Murray, founding director of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, told the Times that the town of San Sebastian offers visitors the chance to see one of Eduardo Chillida's stunning sculptures.
He explains that the Basque sculptor Chillida enjoyed a "multifaceted" relationship with his home town - and was even goalkeeper for the San Sebastian football team, Real Sociedad.
On a westerly point of the bay of La Concha stands the artist's Combs of the Wind - three large forms in the shape of twisted claws crafted from iron.
"The sculpture pays homage both to the sea and to the city and is alternately battered and caressed by the water and winds from the Bay of Biscay," Mr Murray explains.
He goes on to recommend the Chillida-Leku Museum to visitors planning a cultural trip.
And later in the year, art lovers may wish to book cheap flights to Spain in order to take part in Madrid's La Noche en Blanco, a night that sees the city's museums staying open till dawn.
