Brits could be jetting off on cheap flights to Spain in the run-up to Christmas as a number of destinations remain "firm favourites", it has been asserted.
Homes Worldwide reports that the country remains reachable over the festive season thanks to the availability of flights from the UK.
This could be welcomed either by Brits who have moved there or families and friends hoping to book cheap flights to Spain in order to visit.
"Flights to Malaga over Christmas will be good news for holiday homeowners and ex-pats who live in the region permanently," observes columnist Sarah Seamarks.
"It will be easier for friends and family to visit or for them to return to the UK for the festive season," she contends.
Cheap flights to Tenerife may also be in demand as she points out that the Canaries are popular among Britons looking for some winter sun.
The comments follow research from Conti Financial Services, which found that Spain remains the primary choice among Brits when buying holiday homes abroad.
