Sport-loving Britons who want to find a holiday with enough activities on offer to keep the whole family entertained over the Easter break would be well advised to book cheap flights to Cyprus.
Joanna Symons, writing in an article for the Telegraph, explains that there are few travel experiences as "intoxicating" as first emerging from the grey and cold British winter into the blue skies of an island holiday.
Touching down at Paphos airport, she, her husband and her two sons set off for their destination of the Aphrodite Hills to enjoy a break where they would be able to join the tennis academy, use the championship golf course, take riding lessons and enjoy the spa and beach club.
"One of the high points of our visit was an afternoon trip to the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos, where we climbed down into the ancient subterranean structures, skillfully cut into the rock sometime in the third century BC," Ms Symons notes.
But if a week's relaxing on a sun-soaked beach is a more prominent priority for Britons over Easter, cheap flights to Cyprus can provide this, as the island has some of the finest beaches in the Mediterranean.
