Britons looking to tighten their belts and save some money this year may not need to totally sacrifice their summer getaway and could instead choose to book cheap flights to Malaga.
In an article for the Daily Telegraph, Sophie Butler explains that the destination is "well served" by cheap flights from the UK, which may make it the ideal choice for a budget break.
Commenting on recent research by Holiday Rentals, she adds that within the eurozone, travellers' money is likely to go the furthest in Spain.
"Average prices here start at around £680 per week for a three-bedroom property and one of the cheapest areas is around the Costa del Sol, just inland or in the coast's quieter resorts," Ms Butler explains.
And Britons planning to book cheap flights to Malaga over the coming few weeks will be arriving shortly after a very glamorous event.
The Malaga Film Festival is now in its 12th year and will feature 14 films, along with documentaries before wrapping up tomorrow (April 25th).
