Antonio Banderas is due to be reunited with his Mask of Zorro co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones, as the pair begin filming a new movie based on the life of the artist Salvador Dali.
The film is set to be released in 2010 or 2011 and chronicles the life of the surrealist painter, with a focus on his later life and his success in America.
While Banderas will take up the role of Dali, Zeta-Jones is set to play Gala Eduard Dali - the artist's muse.
The shoot will take place in Alicante's Ciudad de la Luz.
Britons who have booked cheap flights to Alicante but want to find out more about the celebrated Spanish artist may wish to see Little Ashes, a film depicting his early life which stars Twilight actor Robert Pattinson and is due to be released early next month.
