Cheap flights to Paphos to tee-off

Nic Brook, in an article for the Guardian, claimed that he was surprised upon reaching the island to receive a calendar featuring naked golfers on some of the Mediterranean courses.

However, he speculated that the weather in Cyprus may help this cause and that while shorts are frowned upon on UK courses, they are practically a necessity on the island.

"In Cyprus there's warm sunshine pretty much every day of the year and I can see why Herbie, my playing partner - or "Mr August" ... and his pals have found the Mediterranean island a great place to live and play golf," he explains.

Mr Brook adds that Cyprus is set to benefit from a brand new 18-hole course designed by Nick Faldo which will open next year and that Paphos was likely to soon become a "huge" destination for UK golfers.
