Britons who book cheap flights to Spain may find that their perfect holiday awaits them in the form of sunny beaches, pubs and clubs and lots of fellow Brits.
However, those who want to experience the "real Spain" may find that there are plenty of places they can visit, according to one expert.
Sarah Chambers, PR manager at Holiday-Rentals, said that UK holidaymakers should not discount the destination as a getaway choice this year.
She noted that there were some really "authentic" places to explore and relax in Andalusia and in the hilltop towns and villages.
And Spain still remains a budget-friendly destination, she added.
"Private holiday rentals are still cheap and it is still cheap to get there. A cheap flight into Malaga, depending on how savvy you are, is still pretty good," she explained.
Those who feel inspired to book cheap flights to Spain may be interested to know that Derek Moore, chairman at the Association of Independent Tour Operators, recently claimed that the country had plenty more to offer than its beaches, noting that it was also a good choice for adventure-lovers.
