Britons looking for the perfect destination to escape to with the kids this summer may wish to book cheap flights to Spain for the whole family.
While there, children could love to spend a day at the Terra Mitica theme park in Benidorm, which is divided into five mythical lands, making it both a fun and educational day out.
Dominic Wells, in an article for the Times, explains that the five themes include Greece and Rome, with the former honouring Homer's famous poetry with an exciting Ulysses water ride. In the land of Rome adventure-lovers can ride the 36m-high wooden rollercoaster Magnus Collossus.
And for the more adventurous thrill-seekers, SynKope may be the perfect ride - a disk which spins at 90 kph until it reaches a high of 35 metres and a 120 degree angle above the ground.
Families planning to take cheap flights to Spain to spend their summer having fun in the sun may also wish to pay a visit to PortAventura in Tarragona, which the Times recently asserted was "well worth a trip".
