Britons looking for the perfect family-orientated destination for their summer holiday may wish to take the advice of one commentator and book cheap flights to Cyprus.
The Times' Jenny Blair states: "Cyprus is a very child-friendly country and everywhere you go you'll find the locals delightfully attentive and understanding of your kids."
She adds that a visit to the Caledonia Falls in the Troodos Mountains is a "treat" for kids who can use stepping stones to cross over the streams on the way.
At the end of the walk, families can dig into barbequed fish at the Psilo Dentron Restaurant, which can also call a taxi for walkers to return to their cars.
Ms Blair adds that another fun activity is taking a camel walk in Mazotos, where there is also a petting zoo, play area and swimming pool, while a jeep safari across the Akamas Peninsula may also be an exciting adventure.
Families planning to book cheap flights to Cyprus may also be interested to hear that the Telegraph's Joanna Symons recently claimed that a trip to the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos was one of the high points of her own family's getaway.
