Britons planning to book cheap flights to Majorca this summer may wish to pack their walking boots so they can set out on some of the numerous trails the island has to offer.
Writing for the Times, Graham Keeley said Majorca was "an island that offers some of the most accessible, varied, rewarding and breathtakingly beautiful hiking terrain in Europe".
On his own walking tour of the island, Mr Keeley began with an orientation day, taking a 40-minute hike up to the Mirador des Barques where he was able to enjoy views of the valley.
He also enjoyed walks down to one of the ports, breaking up his day by tucking into some tapas, in a day he described as "perfect".
Britons booking cheap flights to Majorca may also wish to hire a bike for their stay, after the Times' Kate Spicer noted that it was the "perfect island" for a two-wheeled adventure.
