Majorca 'still a favourite'

Many people could be looking for cheap flights to Majorca in light of the island's continued popularity among holidaymakers.
The Travel Trade Gazette (TTG) notes that Majorca remains high on the list for bookings with accommodation-only operators.
Anyone with a place to stay but no way of getting there could be left in need of cheap flights to Majorca.
Meanwhile, with the winter months approaching, TTG reports that travellers are still keen to buy accommodation and flights separately.
"Leading bed banks have so far reported good sales - particularly to traditional winter sun destinations," the publication asserts.
TTG previously listed Majorca as a good choice for winter sun breaks, along with mainland Spain, for anyone looking for a cooler alternative to the midsummer sun.
According to the travel news provider, "the mainland and Majorca are cooler in winter with more appeal for long-stay or activity holidays".
Despite the cooler temperatures, the publication concluded that a suntan is still on the cards for anyone disembarking from cheap flights to Spain and Majorca.
