Customers who book cheap flights to Spain might want to head to the pueblos blancos – or white villages - of the southwest of the country after hearing about a recent review.
Writing for the Telegraph, Tim Jepson described Gaucin as being "terribly romantic" and in an "astounding" location.
He noted the sleepy streets, bars, restaurants and fantastic views.
"Idle strolls, leisurely drinks, al fresco suppers in jasmine-scented air – Gaucin has all these late-summer pleasures, which you could easily realise in a short break," stated Mr Jepson.
It was also suggested in the review holidaymakers combine the trip with a visit to a number of other nearby locations – such as Juzcar, Parauta and Apandeire.
The reviewer concluded by saying while he did not know very much about Spain, he now knew a lot about Gaucin after his visit, which he enjoyed a lot.
Malaga airport is about two hours drive from the village.
The location might also be perfect for nature lovers, as Motion Views noted there are plenty of wildlife, flora and rare birds to see in Gaucin.
