Cheap flights to go on gap year travel could 'add to CV'

Keen travellers who want to give a boost to their CV may wish to consider booking cheap flights to Spain and gain experience abroad.

Advice from gapyear.com suggested taking time overseas can help to make people more attractive to potential employers.

Tom Griffiths, founder of the organisation, noted people who are out of work may be able to turn this into a positive thing by taking a gap year.

He commented: "You can not only develop your CV and the vital thing is that you have the opportunity as an individual to say … 'I'm going to do something positive and life changing'."

Mr Griffiths suggested people step out of their comfort zones and try something new in order to benefit from a life-changing experience.

According to the Year Out Group, one of the most popular choices for a career break is to volunteer as a teacher. People may choose to hop on a cheap flight to Spain to see what opportunities the country has to offer.
