British holidaymakers are always on the look out for bargains, such as cheap flights to Spain.
This is according to thetravelmagazine.net, which has claimed UK travellers have an "intrepid instinct" when it comes to going abroad.
Sharron Livingston, editor of the online resource, explained this is a reason low-cost airlines, which can provide cheap flights to Spain, continue to flourish.
This is also why people continue to go on holiday despite having money worries, she said.
Ms Livingston remarked: "The British are renowned as being keen travellers especially if the price is right.
"They [are] … keen to travel and have [a] keen eye for a bargain."
People who booked cheap flights to Spain recently may have had the chance to see one of the country's most famous festivals.
The Tomatina sees thousands of people travel to Brunol in Valencia for a huge food fight, in which people throw over-ripe tomatoes at each other.
Some 50,000 people turned up for a week of frivolity, including music, parades, dancing and fireworks.
Book cheap flights to Spain online from as little as £19.99 with Jet2.com, the friendly low fares airline.
