Cheap flights to Paris should be a priority for partygoers on September 19th.

The annual Techno Parade sees 400,000 people descend on the streets of the French capital, giving plenty of reasons for travellers looking for a city break to book cheap flights to Paris.

A whole host of performers will run the length of the three-mile parade, including 150 musicians and 20 floats. Music lovers are expected to turn up in force to the free event.

British travellers are more open-minded than ever when it comes to new experiences abroad, according to new research from Mintel. Lynsey Devon, Activity Sector PR manager at TUI Travel, said: "Back in the 1970s, people went on holiday to lie on beaches and do absolutely nothing. Now they are looking to go away, have an experience and then come back and tell everybody about it."

A majority of Brits (83 per cent) intend on taking between one and five short breaks this year, a new survey by Visa Europe shows.
