Film lovers could consider cheap flights to Barcelona at the end of the month.
Holidaymakers looking for cheap flights to Barcelona may wish to plan their visit with a trip to the Docupolis International Documentary Film Festival.
Established in 2000, the ninth Docupolis festival sees 12,000 spectators pass through the doors of Barcelona's Centre of Contemporary Culture. Categories for the documentary films include feature, short, experimental and urban, with a total of 90 screenings.
Barcelona is a city with huge cultural appeal, plus a wide range of attractions for all types of traveller. Gareth Rubin in the Daily Mail recommends Barcelona because "even in the heart of the city you're never far from the sea".
The Catalonia region offers many attractions beyond Barcelona's boundaries. Mr Rubin states: "The ski resorts and medieval towns of the Pyrenees are only a couple of hours to the north, which means winter weekend skiing is easily accessible".
Beginning on September 29th, the Docupolis festival runs until October 4th.
