Cheap ski flights present plenty of options for travellers looking for a budget winter holiday.
Many ski resorts are providing a greater choice of affordable accommodation, research has found.
Vanessa Fisher, spokesperson for the Ski Club of Great Britain, said tour operators are offering reduced rates because many customers have declined to make early bookings this year.
Ms Fisher added: "Value for money is key – families are thinking 'what is cheapest but where can we go that gives us the best value for money?'."
Winter holidaymakers can enjoy greater affordability when booking a ski holiday this year, as ski resorts look to entice budget travellers.
The financial climate is blamed by 45 per cent of customers who did not follow through with their booking, research by ski operator Erna Low has found.
Cheap ski flights may include a trip to Salzburg, a city which offers "dreaming spires, green hills and romantic gardens", according to visit-salzburg.net.
