Cheap flights to Paris may attract car lovers

The Paris Motor Show could be a good reason for car lovers to book cheap flights to Paris.
Held at Paris Porte de Versailles, the show exhibits car prototypes from 500 international brands representing 30 countries.
Visitors will be able to test-run several vehicles on an indoor karting track, or sit behind the wheel of an environmentally efficient eco-car.
The show also features a special exhibition titled Taxis from around the world, which displays 40 vehicles from cities across the globe, including London cabs and yellow New York taxis.
With almost 1.5 million visitors in attendance, the event showcases numerous concept cars and new models from famous automobile manufacturers.
Research by the Office for National Statistics found that the number of trips abroad by UK residents between May and July 2009 dropped one per cent to 14.9 million compared with the previous three months, with a fall in overseas spending by six per cent to £7.6 billion.
UK travellers on a budget may be encouraged that admission for the motor show is €12 (£10.80) for adults, €6 for 10-18 year olds, and free for under-tens.
The events runs from October 4th to the 19th.
