Food lovers looking to book cheap flights to Paris should make time to visit one renowned street celebration this autumn.
The Montmartre Harvest Festival marks the arrival of the area's local wine, Clos Montmartre, and features a host of festivities designed to delight the taste buds.
Featuring hundreds of food stalls - plus wine tasting, live music, fireworks and parades - the event promises to capture the imagination of festival lovers looking for a taste of the French capital.
A set of workshops called the School of Taste programme give visitors a chance to try their hand at bread making, while taking in wines, perfumes and spices from around the world.
Montmartre is a village perched on a hill overlooking the city, described by the mayor Bertrand Delanoe as "a district of Paris that mixes celebration and the arts, theatre and song, painters and jugglers" and is "a village aware of its unique location and loves to share with all who pass".
The event is staged between the 7th and 11th of October.
