Cheap flights to Spain 'could appeal to cinema fans'

Cinema fans may wish to book cheap flights to Spain and check out the International Film Festival of Catalonia in Sitges.

Dubbed "the number one fantasy film in the world" by organisers, the show has expanded on this area of interest to include animation and alternative genres

From its origins in 1968, the annual event now features an array of international screenings, showcasing a selection of cinema from contemporary and classic eras.

The line-up of films include Duncan Jones's Moon, Jordi Pastor's Playing with Numbers and Jaco van Dormael's Mr Nobody.

A jury comprising names such as Neil Marshall and Amanda Plummer will decide on the award of several accolades, including Best Motion Picture, Best Director and a Grand Honorary Award to recognise an individual career in the film industry.

Stars from the world of cinema who have previously paid visits to the festival include Quentin Tarantino, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Cameron Diaz.

The event runs until October 12th.
