Consumers have been told that cheap flights to Murcia are still available, making holiday homes in the region an attractive option.
Mike Hamilton, sales director of local property firm Casas de Lorca, tells PropertyWire that the availability of cheap flights to Spain means the region is likely to maintain its allure for those looking for a second home abroad.
"The ease of accessibility to Murcia is a real positive for the region's property market," he comments.

The publication cites figures from the Civil Aviation Authority showing that more than 1.5 million passengers flew into the region's San Javier airport in 2006.
