Britons hoping to enjoy some winter sports over the coming months by hitting the slopes for a snowboarding session have been advised to book their trip last minute in order to save money.
Derek Larney, writing on the online pages of Trinity News, said that holidaymakers who are not fussy about their destination but simply want to get on with snowboarding should wait and see if any bargains come up.
He added that even if the vacation itself is not cheaper, some Britons may secure a different deal, such as free wine during an evening meal or a complimentary lift pass.
"As long as you are flexible on where you go there are always bargains about, especially at the start and the end of the season," Mr Larney claimed, adding that people should avoid the Christmas period and February.
Britons hoping for a budget winter sports break may be interested to know that Jet2.com, the low-cost airline, offers cheap snowboarding flights from airports across the north of the UK.
