More travellers are booking cheap flights to Spain, if an expert's comments are anything to go by.
Carroll Rheem, a director of research at PhoCusWright, reacted to new research from the organisation that showed a 0.6 per cent increase in holidaymakers visiting the continent.
She said: "As Europeans seek to make the most of their treasured time off this year, they are increasingly using online options to plan the best holiday for their budget."
Those who plan in advance could find the right deal for their Spanish getaway.
For instance, the Balearic island of Menorca offers a blend of sea and sunshine, complete with summer fiestas and traditional cuisine.
Elsewhere, visitors to Catalonia could let their hair down in Barcelona - renowned for its architecture, galleries and access to the coast.
Moreover, BBC Weather recommends that Spain is a sunny all-round destination in summertime, while winter sun seekers could head to the coasts for the highest temperatures during this time of the year.
