Fans of tennis could book cheap flights to Spain and catch the Valencia Open 500.

Running until November 8th, holidaymakers could check out British number one Andy Murray battle his way through the rounds.

The indoor hard court tournament will see the world's best male tennis players look to serve and volley their way to the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Commenting on his recovery from a wrist injury, Murray said: "Normally it takes a bit of time to get back into playing your best but I feel good."

Also participating are Spain's Fernando Verdasco and the Russian Nikolay Davydenko.

Elsewhere, last year's winner David Ferrer will look to defend his crown.

People who wish to explore the country on their tennis trip could head to a variety of destinations throughout Spain.

In particular, Malaga on the south coast features high temperatures and a variety of shopping, entertainment and dining opportunities.
