With its powder snow and various slopes, the Skill Hall in Neuss could be great fun for skiers of all abilities.
There is also Europe's largest indoor dive centre Freizeitzentrum Xanten, which offers surfing, canoeing, sailing and water-skiing - whatever the weather.
People can also go cycling or hiking during their break.
