More cheap flights booked to Paris 'for business purposes'

More people could be booking cheap flights to Paris for business purposes, if the following comments are anything to go by.

Christophe Peymirat of Egencia noted that over the last year, companies have been trying to reduce their costs by cutting back on travel.

However, he added that nothing beats a face-to-face business meeting.

Firms like to be able to get together with their customers and clients so they can have more effective communications, explained Mr Peymirat.

Due to this, flights to economic hubs such as Paris, Frankfurt and Berlin are beginning to increase.

"Business travel is critical and when you go and meet your customers and your suppliers, you have interactions of higher quality than doing things by phone or email," he stated.

During the festive period, there are plenty of activities for visitors to the French capital to get involved with.
