Couples looking for a romantic getaway next summer should book cheap flights to Dalaman through Jet2.com, if one pair's experiences are anything to go by.
Lisa Jackson and Paul Stephenson jetted out to Altinkum for a honeymoon recently – and told the local Voices weekly newspaper they had the time of their lives.
They explained the resort holds a special place in their hearts as it is where they were when their baby daughter Ashleigh's first tooth popped through.
It is also a place where they have made many friends, both Turkish and British.
Ms Stephenson said the town is now their "favourite place in the world".
"I have gone to Altinkum on holiday two or three times a year since the age of six and Paul fell in love with the place two years ago. So [it was] the natural choice for us," she told the news provider.
They are not the first couple to hit the headlines after enjoying a honeymoon in Turkey.
Umay and Thomas Jones recently took part in five wedding ceremonies for legal and religious reasons – and enjoyed a visit to the Mediterranean country.
