Cheap flights to Barcelona could lead to Spandau Ballet gig

Music fans may be encouraged to book cheap flights to Barcelona after hearing about some of the city's upcoming events.

Reformed pop band Spandau Ballet are set to play at the Palau Olimpic Badalona on March 12th 2010, which could be the perfect event to tie into a sight-seeing trip.

Fans may expect the New Romantic group to play hits such as Gold, True and Musclebound.

Meanwhile, rock fans may prefer to catch Dinosaur Jr on the Spanish leg of their European tour.

The grunge group are set to take to the stage at the Sala Apollo on February 11th 2010.

Looking further ahead, festival-goers could book cheap flights to Barcelona ahead of next year's Festival Internacional de Benicassim.

One of the continent's biggest music events, it takes place between July 15th and 18th 2010.

Last year's bash saw the likes of Oasis, Franz Ferdinand and Kings of Leon play.
