Travellers who book cheap flights to Venice through Jet2.com could enjoy a magical break, if one celebrity's experiences are anything to go by.
Television presenter Emma Forbes told the Daily Mail the Italian city is her favourite holiday destination, explaining she loves to walk around its winding streets.
She highlighted St Mark's Square as an attraction that should be included in a sightseeing trip, adding other smaller squares nearby could also be worth a look.
The former Live and Kicking host told the news provider: "[Venice] was just as I'd imagined and more. My family and I arrived at night. We entered via the canals - it was like arriving in another world."
Earlier this month, Daily Mail correspondent Wendy Holden suggested Venice could be a great place to enjoy a family holiday.
She said the numerous galleries and museums can be useful for educating youngsters about art and culture.
The commentator also visited the Frari church and strolled around the city's lagoon.
