Travellers who book cheap flights to Barcelona could decide to give their break an educational slant.
Daily Express journalist Claire Hewitt went to the Catalonian city to brush up on her Spanish.
She visited the Don Quijote language school, where she took part in small classes to learn simple phrases.
Although the lessons were intensive, they were also fun aspects, such as bingo and crosswords.
Ms Hewitt's trip also included a spot of sightseeing - she trekked to the church of Santa Maria del Mar and the Picasso museum, which are "must-visits".
Meanwhile, she enjoyed a refreshing drink in the Sant Pere district.
She remarked: "A favourite spot for doing my homework was sun-kissed Sant Sebastia beach."
The correspondent added: "[It was] one of the most fulfilling holidays I’ve had."
Last year, head of foreign relations at Barcelona Turisme, Maria Luisa Albacar-Fracanzani suggested travellers should take a trip to Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia.
