Travellers looking for a spectacular holiday should book cheap flights to Corfu through Jet2.com, if one journalist's experiences are anything to go by.
Writing for the Daily Express, Maureen Browne described a trip to the Greek hotspot, which included strolls around its bays and harbours.
She went to the north of the island during her sojourn, where she found a "peaceful inlet" which was perfect for sunbathing and taking a dip in the sea.
On another day of her trip, the correspondent headed for Palaiokastritsa, which is found in the north-west.
She recalled: "After zig-zagging through small villages, its tantalising beauty was revealed to us from the hilltops."
Ms Browne then enjoyed an inflatable boat ride on Glyfada beach, stating that, much like the rest of her holiday, it was "great fun".
The founder of Rough Guides, Mark Ellingham, has previously described how wonderful a holiday to Corfu can be in a column for the Guardian.
He said the island is just as good now as when he visited as a student in the 1970s.
