Travellers planning a romantic getaway for Valentine's Day next month should book cheap flights to Paris, if one correspondent's words are anything to go by.
Writing for the Guardian's Been There section, Magnus Hartwell highlighted the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant, which is found on the first floor of the city's iconic tower attraction.
He said it offers spectacular views of the area – and the food more than matches the surroundings.
The eatery has subdued lighting and a wonderful atmosphere, meaning it could be the perfect venue for an evening meal on February 14th 2010.
Mr Hartwell remarked: "If you are looking to do something in Paris for your partner … you can't beat this.
"The food and the service here was excellent."
Sightseeing could be a great way to spend an afternoon on a romatic getaway to Paris – couples could take a boat trip up the River Seine visit the Arc De Triomphe or view art at the Louvre gallery.
