The popularity of cheap flights to Ibiza looks set to continue among clubbers this year.
Research carried out by holiday guide website Love Ibiza found 78 per cent of those who enjoyed a break on the Balearic island last year plan to return in 2010 and 96 per cent will come back at some point in the future.
Some 45 per cent of those who jetted in to the Mediterranean hotspot in 2009 were experiencing the buzzing nightlife and beautiful beaches for the first time.
Editor of the travel portal John McElborough suggested the fact that DJs are diversifying the style of tunes they play is attracting a wide range of music lovers.
Along with the well-known dance venues such as Pascha and Eden, rock aficionados are flocking to the Ibiza Rocks venue, where some of the biggest names in guitar music, such as Kasabian, have played in recent years.
Mr McElborough remarked: "Along with the interest we have seen in the 2010 season already we would expect this to be a record breaking year for Ibiza tourism."
