Travellers who love nothing more than relaxing on an idyllic beach during their summer holiday should book cheap flights to Menorca, if one correspondent's comments are anything to go by.
Daily Mail journalist Caitlin Davies visited Cala'n Porter, which is found on the south coast of the Balearic destination.
She underlined how this small, family-friendly resort is known for its beautiful beach, which is set in a breathtaking cove area.
Culinary aficionados will enjoy the range of pretty bistros, while those who chose a self-catering break can take advantage of numerous supermarkets.
Ms Davies said a visit to the island's capital Mahon is a must, which requires a short drive or bus ride outside the resort.
She remarked: "There is a beautiful cathedral - currently being restored - and an archaeological museum, with free entrance on a Wednesday. If it's monuments you're interested in, there are stone memorials all over the island."
The Observer's Paul Richardson has previously highlighted Menorca's charming tranquility, spacious beaches and enigmatic scenery.
