Adventurous travellers who book cheap flights to Dalaman could enjoy a fun family sailing holiday.
Daily Telegraph correspondent Claire Mann found "unlimited freedom" by chartering her own boat and setting sail along the coast.
She said on previous holidays to the region she rented a monohull, but found it cramped and decided to try a catamaran during a recent trip to the region.
The journalist explained these type of vessels are better for those with children, as teenagers enjoy sunbathing on the spacious trapeze.
Kids are also eager to be hands on during a sailing holiday and relish being given a job to do.
"Another bonus of a cat, we discovered, is their extra speed. We were able to return to our favourite places from previous cruises in half the time," she said.
Last month, the Daily Mail detailed a trip to Turkey's Turquoise Coast, stating Olu Deniz could be an idyllic destination.
