Those looking to wine and dine their loved one should book cheap flights to Prague for a romantic getaway, if one expert's recent recommendations are anything to go by.
Frank Barrett, who is the travel editor at the Mail on Sunday, said the Czech capital is a great place to go for those seeking a bit of passion.
He offered the advice in response to a question from a reader, who was looking for ideas for a Valentine's Day trip.
Mr Barrett highlighted the destination's "winding cobbled streets" and interesting architecture as reasons why Prague could fit the bill.
He added: "A new luxury scene has recently emerged in the city with the opening of a number of fantastic hotels, bars and restaurants."
A spokesperson for local travel authority CzechTourism pointed out the city has numerous options for those who love to shop until they drop.
Designers such as Klara Nademlynska have boutiques on the Old Town square, he said.
