Booking cheap flights to Sharm El Sheikh through Jet2.com will allow travellers to spend more of their money on a luxury break once they have reached the Egyptian destination.
The Egypt State Tourist Office has underlined how the Red Sea city is a wonderful destination for those looking to indulge themselves.
Director of the organisation Khaled Ramy pointed out the hotspot has numerous spa facilities, along with opportunities to play golf.
"If I were to say Sharm El Sheikh, you would say it was now mainstream. But there are some spots in Sharm El Sheikh which are high-end," he remarked.
Mr Remy added that other parts of Egypt, such as the White Mediterranean area and resorts along the River Nile will also be popular.
Luxury breaks are set to be higher on the agenda for travellers this year compared to 2009.
A Wanderlust and AITO survey found 83 per cent of people plan to maintain their holiday plans in 2010, a rise of six per cent compared to figures from May 2009.
