Travellers who book cheap flights to Paris could enjoy a fun sightseeing break.
This is what Simonseeks journalist Nikki Bayley did recently - and she revealed that going slightly off the beaten track allowed her to see another side of the city.
Staying in the Marais district, which is known as the French destination's Jewish quarter, she enjoyed trying out the tasty local cuisine, including the "best croissants" in Paris from Au Leavain de Marais.
The correspondent later stocked up on produce at the Les Enfants Rouge market, where Vietnamese foods and Italian dishes are the order of the day.
Ms Bailey also popped in to one of the city's swimming pools, which is found in the Les Halles shopping mall.
Culture vultures, meanwhile, could enjoy following in her footsteps and catching a film at the Studio Galande cinema.
"All this makes … [Marais] the coolest quarter in the most fashionable city on earth," the columnist concluded.
Last month, Simonseeks contributor Adam Kutereba suggested travellers could visit the Musee D'Orsay, which features the works of Vincent van Gogh and Paul Cezanne.
