Those who book cheap flights to Dalaman for a summer holiday to Turkey could enjoy a mix of relaxation and historical sights.
This is according to holidaymaker Theresa Fallon, who recounted her experiences of the country in correspondence with the Guardian.
She said the country is filled with beautiful beaches, bustling cities and numerous cultural hotspots.
Ms Fallon is the latest in a long line of correspondents to highlight how perfect Turkey is for a holiday this year - Simonseeks contributor Keren Kaur recommended travellers head to Hisaronu on the nation's Mediterranean coast.
Here she was able to try out the local cuisine of kebabs and mezzes, while also enjoying picturesque views of the nearby hills.
The journalist said: "At dawn, walk through the plenty-full boutiques to shop from Traditional Turkish clothes to designer-like accessories."
Holidaymakers should also try their hand at watersports such as scuba diving and paragliding, she added.
During the day, the town is good for lazing on the beach, but by night it is transformed as the bars and restaurants host DJs and belly dancers, Ms Kaur concluded.
