Couples encouraged to book cheap flights to Gran Canaria

Couples who want to take one last break before having a baby have been advised to book cheap flights to Gran Canaria.
According to Sharon Van Geuns of the Mirror, she and her partner Mike visited the destination while she was pregnant with her first child.
She said Gran Canaria was a perfect place to visit, as it offers attractions such as friendly and helpful people, good food and breathtaking views.
Ms Van Geuns also noted that the island offers great medical facilities, which she found very reassuring considering her condition.
"If there was any place I was going to be able to properly relax and not only accept but enjoy my rapidly blooming state, it was on Gran Canaria," she commented.
Ms Van Geuns added that the island can be reached from the UK in just four hours.
Gran Canaria is one of the Canary Islands and is situated to the west of Fuerteventura and south-east of Tenerife.
