If you love your beers, cultural customs and Eastern Europe then you need to be on cheap flights to Prague this May for the Czech Beer Festival. For 17 days from 14th May 2010, the Czech capital is transformed into a beer connoisseur’s playground with many famous local beers like Budvar, Pilsner Urquell and Staropramen joined by smaller brewers.
It will be a great opportunity for visitors arriving on cheap flights to Prague to properly experience one of the country’s famous offerings.
Plenty to Try and Enjoy at the Czech Beer Festival
Located in Prague's PVA Letnany Exhibition Centre, visitors will find admission is free of charge and, complementing the bevy of beers on offer, will be plenty of local food provided by some of the leading chefs from the area.
In a tasteful move, visitors will also deal in an entirely different currency whilst at the festival. Using only tolars, which are the equivalent to 40 koruna (roughly £1.40 at the time of publication), holidaymakers will be able to purchase their beers of preference and the food.
Also available to purchase using the festival specific currency will be gifts and souvenirs including beer glasses and the traditional festival pitcher glasses.
The festival is set to offer some fizz and flavour to cheap flights to Prague this May.
