In an article for the Telegraph, Annie Bennett, gushed that Famara Beach’s “spectacular pinkish cliffs” provide a “dramatic setting” for holidaymakers topping up their tans. It has also been used as a location for the films of Pedro Almodóvar.

Located to the north of the island, visitors arriving on cheap flights to Lanzarote will find the beach tucked away in a secluded spot. As well as mixing soft sand with shingles, visitors will also find some excellent surf which has made watersports a popular pastime.
